History: Born to a Miller, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spy. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spy for hire.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Detective, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To be a Guard again; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. John was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
