History: Born in the west to a Barkeep, Gerard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barkeep. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gerard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Lance was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.
