History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Richard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Richard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Richard and his spouse have recently divorced.

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
