History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Born in the west to a Engraver, Solomon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
