History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Nicholas was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nicholas decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

His tied-back hair is chestnut. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: Bernard speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'7". He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized yellow coat. His black hair is lengthy. His half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: Richard speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has never given up on his music dream.

Description: He wears a violet vest and prefers pastel and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'6" when asserting himself. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is content.
