History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.

He has since lost track of the people in his past.

He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born in the south. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Barber. He became a Barber soon after.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
