History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hunter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: The child of a Bowyer, who enjoyed hunting, Ralf was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student he started as a Bowyer, but he got bored and became a Miner. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He got into the Farmer business at a young age. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He struck the Farmer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and balancing his hectic life and new farmer responsibilities is difficult

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Body Guard arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
