History: Born in the north to a Masseuse, Kyle learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Diggory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
