History: Born in the east to a Ruler, Gerard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He tends to his Ruler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Raymond enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Raymond reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
