History: Chad hails from a village terrorized by drow. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortbow.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
