When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'10" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is auburn and very short. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Merchant born in the past three hundred years. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Bertram liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Gifted from a young age, John studied abroad. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often
