Tim was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Simon was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to clean up the streets
