History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lewis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Lewis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Lance is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His childhood dream was to be a Shipwright, but he was a colossal failure. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he tends to wear a brown poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His hair is golden, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Slave Trader arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Percival was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
