History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
