History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: Dean speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the north to a Carter, Dean learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Wymar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
