One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He got into the Junk Dealer business at a young age. Adam abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tailor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Trym was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
