He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Norman never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
