History: Manfred was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is content

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Lance was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Courier. He became a Courier soon after.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with his Weaver mother left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: The child of a Ruler, who enjoyed hunting, Theobald was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
