History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Heward took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a Beggar, his father struggled to pay the bills. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
