History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gomory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born in the south. Alex was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Cartwright. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
