History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.
