Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kody does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Kody was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is typically in his Actor uniform. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Actor job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: Guy hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Guy alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he dresses in red turtlenecks beneath a green coat with white slacks. He keeps his golden hair in a flapper bob. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Detective but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Gifted from a young age, Randal studied abroad. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Randal never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He is content; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: This man is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His hair is white and curly. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerard. He's also a talented Fisher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
