He carries a battered shortspear and tarnished shortbow as well. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age his father died while driving off some giants. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shortbow use. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Sage profession.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This malnourished man is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raymond fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is wearing a long, tan cloak. He has a very tight haircut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
