He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Richard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Born in the east to a Mason, Richard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mason work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mason work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Simon was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Merchant for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
