History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kody grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by unlife.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Charles and his spouse have recently divorced.
