History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Nicholas liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Weaver arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
