Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Thomas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fletcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Reynard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Everard has worked very hard to control his curse. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has moderate length chestnut hair. His eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A freak accident while working with his Sailor mother left him crippled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Lance was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He tends to his Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
