Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Spice Merchant and was forced into it by his family.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a yellow shirt with thin blue vertical stripes and black pants. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a white coat over a tan low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: Ralf is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. The war was a terrible time for him, and Godfrey does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When Godfrey reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: Standing 5'7", this man wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a shortspear, but if one is not available he will default to his shield. His hair is short and silver. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
