History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was taken from his home at a very young age. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
