History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gunter is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gunter studied abroad. Through the years after Gunter was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gunter's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
