History: Gifted from a young age, Randal studied abroad. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Randal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Balimaar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cartwright born in the past three hundred years. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To be a Sage again.
