History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Geoffrey grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Roland has worked very hard to control his curse. He tends to his Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and wants to open a new tavern
