History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nicholas was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: He dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a black coat with blue slacks, and carries falchions. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. In his youth he was a Ruler, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roger fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
