He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in the south. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He's in love; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This malnourished man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has dyed his greying blonde hair a little too much giving a sharp blonde color. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Aldous's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Healer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and retire the richest man in the east

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Anselm reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Anselm never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
