History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Sellsword arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Crown-heir father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Diggory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
