History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting drow, the young Chad began to lead the lost caravan. Being a Miller kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Theobald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He struck the Mortician job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is greedy

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to pay off his debts

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
