He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
