History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Bellfounder, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerald. He tends to his Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
