History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Raymond was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Raymond's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Raymond and his spouse have recently divorced.

This search led him directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
