Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Rolf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
