Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerald was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has worked as a Fletcher like his mother before him.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and expand his business

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Dean lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.
