History: Gunter was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gifted student he started as a Shipwright, but he got bored and became a Sage. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Banker for the past few years.
