Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Apothecary but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Shane was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shane decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. History: He was born in a small desert village. Through the years after Ernest was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ernest's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He bought a greatsword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
