History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: The child of a Crown-heir, who enjoyed hunting, Robert was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Robert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and many illithids want him driven away

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He got into the Apothecary business at a young age. He worked as a nervous Apothecary and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Apothecary.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

History: He got into the Body Guard business at a young age. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has achieved small success as a Body Guard.

He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he is greedy
