Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Ralf has worked very hard to control his curse. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. The war was a terrible time for him, and Randal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
