History: Raymond was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gomory studied abroad. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult.
