Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Ploughman born in the past three hundred years. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ploughman for the past few years.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He takes great joy in being the best Spice Merchant in town.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He struck the Spice Merchant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and money/treasure

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Human compassion.
