It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside.
