History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his mother died while driving off some gnolls. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in pickaxe use. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
