History: Roland lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Guard, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: He was born in the west. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and many illithids want him driven away

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Gifted from a young age, Ernest studied abroad. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
